2 Weeks Volunteering in the "Centro de Miembros Artificiales"

I had an amazing time volunteering in the "Centro de Miembros Artificiales" in La Paz, because it's a small structure (2 people working full time there, the director, and the volunteers). People working there are so nice, they had time and patience to answer any questions I had. I wanted to learn spanish so they helped me guessing what I was trying to say, and the director, Ivonne, wich is an english teacher, helped me too when I could not make me understandable :) I dit not know nothing about prothesis but still they received me with open arms and in 2 weeks I could learn a lot. I was impressed by the useful and great work they produce in this small center. Life was very convenient there because I rented a nice room at a cheap price within one minute walking distance from the center. And there is plenty of public transportation to the city center. I am very happy about this experience and that I met people so generous. I will never forget this example.
