Aji Turkey? Is this traditional or just something my Bolivian Mother did?

Hello, my Mother was Bolivian and she passed away 3 yrs ago. I'm teaching my daughters some of her recipes but can't find or remember the one for Aji Turkey. She'd make it every year for Thanksgiving. You cover a Turkey with Aji Sauce and place garlic cloves in the meat then bake. I'd like to make it with my girls this year. I was Born and Raised in San Francisco so I'm not sure if the recipe is just something she came up with or a traditional Bolivian recipe One of You can share. Anything will help, even a good Aji sauce recipe. Thank You!
