Do Bolivian nationals who are US citizens need a visa?

We were born in Bolivia, are US citizens and confused about the visa process for our visit next month. Do we have to go through the normal process that US citizens do and the $135 fee or is it different?

I went to La Paz recently and the Immigration authorities didn't required me s Visa, because my US Passport says clearly that I was born in Bolivia.

In other words for Bolivian Authorities, I'm still a fellow Bolivian and not a US Citizen.
