Do I need a Bolivian driver's license?

Hi! Have recently arrived to Santa Cruz and have moved here more or less permanently. How does it work here with the driver’s license? Will i need to get a local one (if so, is it a straight transfer to a local, a written test or a practical driving test?) or will my US license suffice? Thanks!
