Some find driving in Bolivia a daunting experience. Foreigners frequently exchange stories of horrific traffic jams, the lack of signage, the little respect for traffic laws, the lack of safety features (such as seatbelts or child seats) in cars and public transport, poor road conditions, and road blocks.
