We are considering moving to La Paz Bolivia - what is the housing situation like for a family of 4? We want to rent a house not an apartment preferably. Thanks.

Prices are continuously increasing. Think about spending some $1,200 per month to live in a three bedroom house in Zona Sur, the best residential area in La Paz.

It really depends on what type of housing you will be seeking (location, size, amenities included, etc.)

You can get a 3-4 bedroom house for about $600 or $3500 a month depending (mostly on the location, whether you need it to be furnished or not, etc.)
