La Paz, Bolivia Rocked by Tremors from Chile Earthquake

4/1/2014 La Paz, Bolivia was rocked by tremors this evening, after an 8.2 earthquake shook neighboring Chile. Expatriates in La Paz reported to BoliviaBella.com that buildings shook but there is no known damage. La Paz is roughly 13,000 feet above sea level. Slight tremors were felt in some areas of the states of Oruro and Cochabamba as well. Sources tell us citizens in La Paz were frightened, but no additional tremors had been felt as of 10:30 p.m. tonight. Meanwhile, we're told Chile remains under a tsunami alert.
