Lido Hotel in Santa Cruz

I have stayed at the Lido in January 2008 and again in December of 2010 and January of 2011. The hotel is very nice and clean. The staff carries the bags to the room. The management has gone out of their way each time to accommodate our needs. The internet room is very nice and has high speed connections. The restaurant is very nice as well, though the service is somewhat slow. However, the food is good and the portions are ample. The location just a few blocks from the plaza and downtown shopping makes it an excellent choice. The cost is very reasonable at around $50 per double room per night.
