Looking for Homestay or Apartment

I'm looking (pretty urgently... I have a hotel till day after tomorrow) for either a nice homestay or a nice 1/2-bed apartment... I need it for about 3 weeks...

MUST-HAVEs...
- Fairly cheap (maybe not by Bolivian standards but still FAIRLY affordable..!)
- Wi-fi and hot water..
- Nice location

NICE TO HAVEs
- someone to practice my spanish with...!

Any thoughts? offers? Recommendations!?

hi Matt

My thoughts are as follows:
1. Are you on Couchsurfing? I would check the noticeboard for the Santa Cruz group, there was an ad recently for a spare room but he didn't put the price on there. Also not sure about wifi.
2. There are serviced apartments/ aparthotels in Santa Cruz but they start at US$500 per month for a one bed, ie not cheap. If however this falls within your budget please reply and I can give you a list of the ones I know of.
3. Maybe look for a private room in a hostel/ residencial? Residencial Bolivar in Calle Sucre has a nice location, wifi, pet toucan. A single room is maybe 90/100Bs for a night, including breakfast. You can use the kitchen in the evening.
