Need info on studying medicine in Bolivia and university vacations

Hi, I'm looking to possibly study medicine in Bolivia. I love the country and would like to return to school. I was just wondering what the schedule is like for medical students. The only thing I can find online is the curriculum, but not the exact dates. I'm just wondering if I would have time to visit my family in the US during school breaks or if it will be basically 6 years in one place. Thanks in advance to any and all answers!

Hi, I'm currently studying medicine here in Bolivia - Santa Cruz.
Yes, you'll have time to visit your family in the U.S.
There are 2 vacations/ school break per year.
One is Holidays break, which you'll get a healthy 3 month vacation. From December/Jan/Feb. And in the middle of the year you'll get another month vacay in July.

So totals 4 month vacation time per year.

I love the schools here. So far so good!
