I am a film historian and NYU graduate. My thesis was on Bolivian cinema. I noticed you were missing a few famous filmmakers. Most noticeably, the reclusive, Patrick Lockton Cordova, who made a film in 2013 called Once Upon a Time in Bolivia that was shortlisted for Bolivia's entry to the Oscars, voted best Bolivian film of the decade by Latin Times and won top prizes in New York, London, Columbia Mexico.
He is more famous abroad than in Bolivia because his film was released in US and Europe but not in Bolivia although he is 100 percent Bolivian and makes only Bolivian films in Bolivia.
I interviewed him in 2014. Cordova, Valdivia and Sanjines are far the most talented filmmakers in Bolivia. I attach the picture given to me from his agent in 2014.
