My brother will be traveling to Bolivia for work and will be staying in LaPaz. He has several prescription medications that his US doctors want to continue. I have several questions:
1 - will he need to be seen by providers in Bolivia and get them to write prescriptions in order to get the medications
refilled while there in Bolivia?
2 - we assume the pharmacy will require cash payment for any medications, correct? will they accept US dollars or does he need to have get his money converted to local currency? Or can he use credit cards?
3-Can you provide a list of reputable pharmacies in the LaPaz area, with address and phone numbers?
4-what additional information can you provide that will help him with this transition?
Thank you in advance. - Susan
