Proof of hotel reservations

I read that you need to have proof of hotel reservation for your stay. Do you have to have hotel reservations for your entire stay in Bolivia?

If you are coming on a tourist visa and will be with a planned tour, you can include your tour itinerary as proof.

If you are coming as a tourist without a planned tour, what you'll want to do is make a reservation at the city in which you'll be arriving and on your visa application form, you can let them know you'll be arriving in XYZ city but you'll be traveling around on your own and don't have an exact itinerary for your entire trip.
