The Lost Altiplano Zoo

Hi Bella, thoroughly enjoyed the wildlife section of your site, very interesting. I am writing to you regarding our new wildlife factfile site www.pawsforwildlife.co.uk. I am trying to find contact information on the Altiplano Zoo in the city of San Pablo Apetatlan (near Tlaxcala, México). As yet I have been unable to find any information at all on them. I hope you may be able to help.
regards

do a search in spanish
by: BoliviaBella

By the way I found the site by searching google in Spanish. If you use the keywords

zoologico+tlaxcala+altiplano+mexico

in Google you will find nearly 3000 sites that mention it.

But if you search using the keywords

zoologico+tlaxcala+altiplano+mexico+san+pablo+apetatlan

like I did, it narrows the results down to only 5 pages and almost all are in English (including a couple of pages about the Lost Altiplano Zoo on wikipedia.

Give it a try.

The altiplano zoo in Tlaxcala
by: BoliviaBella.com

Have you seen this site yet? They have information on the Altiplano Zoo of Tlaxcala www.realtlaxcala.com. Scroll down and look for it under ALTERNATIVE TLAXCALA. The whole site is in English. Perhaps if you sent them a message they could provide more detail?

Not sure but I'll try to find out

Thanks Sebastian for the great comments. Did you take a look at the new WWF wildlife pages too?

Well, I live in Bolivia but I did live and work for several years in Mexico! I don't personally remember having heard about that zoo but I'll try to find out for you. Gives me an excuse to write some of the people I haven't seen or heard from in a ton of years.

In the meantime, let's see if anyone else has heard of it and responds.
