The Theosodon arozquetai and the Llullataruca shockeyi are two new prehistoric hoofed mammal species that have been recently discovered by paleontologists. They have been found only in Bolivia, in the tropical latitudes of South America.

They were apparently herbivores. A modern day animal that may have been resembled these creatures would be a moose, but they are thought to have been about the size of a deer. They lived during the Miocene epoch, and are unusual because not many fossils from that time period have been found.
