The weather in Pando Bolivia is hot and humid almost all year round. Cobija is the capital city of the Department of Pando, Bolivia's Northwestern-most state and is situated at 280 meters above sea level. This tiny state borders the Western rainforest region of Brazil and has the highest annual rainfall average in Bolivia. It is also one of the hottest areas of the country. Visitors to Pando are usually advised to get a yellow fever or malaria vaccine before traveling to this region.
Here the weather is tropical and humid throughout most of the year and temperatures average 82ºF (28ºC) almost all year-round, although the area does cool slightly during the winter months (June to August) when the temperature may dip as low as 75ºF (24ºC) on breezy days. Not to worry, Pando is heavily forested and there are plenty of places to find some shade.
