Where can I buy api morado in the USA or online?

I lived in Bolivia for 3 years and fell in love with Api morado. I have since moved back to the US and am craving a glass of Api on cold days. Does anyone know if there is a place in the USA that you can purchase Api morado? Maybe an online store or certain grocery stores or speciality food stores? I have looked online and I can't seem to find anything other then recipes, and I don't really want to take the time to ground up the corn and make the mixture by hand.

OK, any help would be appreciated!!

Awesome, everyone! Thanks for the answers. I went looking for the same thing, as I’ll be leaving Bolivia soon , and wanted to be able to find/make api morado when I get home. And to the first commenter: I’m also from NoVa! 😁

I live in Alexandria, Virginia you can find Api powder ready to use all you need to do is boil put sugar to taste and orange peel. The Food Start supermarket in Arlington VA and Best Way Alexandria VA have it. Good Luck! Other wise try an International Supermarket:)

You can buy it on Amazon. It's called purple corn meal, purple corn flour or purple corn powder. Just add sugar, cinnamon and lemon to taste.

You can also buy purple corn flour on Amazon.com. It's not very expensive but its just the flour. You have to add the rest (cinnamon, lemon, etc.)
