Which cut of meat for silpanchos?

We have a Bolivian exchange student this year and he wants to make us silpanchos. Can anyone give me an idea of what cut of meat I should buy for this dish?

I just used some round steak, and I think it worked very well...next time I will flatten out the thicker end just a little bit, but even without doing that, it was yummy!
